Kato is an Egyptian local brand inspired by the artistry of the Nubian homes in Aswan. Halla, the founder,nlaunched the brand in 2019, bringing together her love for fashion and design with a mission to empower underprivileged women. Kato’s team is constantly exploring new materials and techniques with an aim to revive and reinterpret traditional crafts such as hand beading, crocheting, and fabric manipulation. Kato is proud to be working with more than 50 women who come from underprivileged areas all around Egypt to hand craft the bags with tons of love and passion.
